Ingredients:
For The Chunky Chicken Vegetable Filling
Butter- 1 tbsp
Red, Yellow, Green bell peppers- ¼ cup
Boiled chopped potatoes- ¼ cup
Boiled green peas and corn- ¼ cup
Chopped and boiled carrots- ¼ cup
Finely chopped celery- 2 tbsp
Boiled shredded chicken- ¾ cup
Finely chopped parsley- 1 tbsp
Milk- 3 tbsp
Grated mozzrella or Amul cheese- 2 tbsp
Salt and pepper- To taste
Medium-sized round burger/hotdog buns- 4 nos.
Butter- A dollop for grilling
Method:
For the Chunky Vegetable Chicken Filling:
1. Take a broad pan and heat 1 tbsp of butter
2. Add the capsicum, corn, green peas, and carrot
3. Sauté on medium flame for 3 minutes
4. Add all the remaining ingredients, stir well, and cook on low flame until the cheese melts
5. Divide the filling into 4 equal parts and keep aside
To Make the Sandwich:
1. Cut each bun into half and scoop out a little centre portion from the bottom half
2. Now brush each bottom bun with a little melted butter and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°c for 5 minutes
3. Reheat the filling and stuff each bun with a portion of the filling
4. Garnish with a sprig of parsley
5. Serve hot with ketchup
Note: Vegetarians can replace chicken with paneer or soya chunks.
