Mother's Feed Reduces Behavioral Problems

A recent study says that babies fed on mother's milk are less likely to have behavioral problems during childhood than babies who are fed with formula.

Breastfeeding has long been recognised as highly beneficial for the infant's short term as well as long term health. Among other things, mother's milk has the right balance of nutrients required for baby's growth. Beyond physical and physiological benefits, there are psychological benefits too.

Exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months of a new born is important for a healthy future of the child.

The mother also benefits by breastfeeding her baby because it helps to contract the uterus and burns calories, thereby reducing the extra weight gained during pregnancy.

If you have a problem with breastfeeding, contact the nearest lactation clinic for help.
