We are always looking for some little tricks and ideas to beautify our home or get rid of a stain on our floor or even simply make our lives easy! Here are a few quick remedies that can work like a charm and also save your time.
• Pour two cups of white vinegar into your toilet bowl and let it sit overnight. Its a great way to keep it looking clean and odor free.
• Cleaning with 1:1 proportion of vinegar and water can add a bright shine to your mirrors.
• To get the free flow of honey from a bottle, add bit of oil on the rim of the bottle or the spoon.
• Add three tablespoons of lemon juice and one and a half cup of water. Warm it for about 5 minutes and use this to wipe your microwave. Your microwave will look as bright as new.
• To remove food stains from cutting boards, slice a lemon in half, squeeze the juice and rub it on the board. Let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse with water.
• Place a slice of lemon in your dust bin to keep the smell away.
• Add bay leaves to keep flour pests at bay.
• To prevent oil splattering from frying sausages, try flouring them lightly before frying.
• Peel a banana from the bottom instead of the top so that you don't have to pick the stringy part of the fruit with your fingers.
• Keep left over cheese in an aluminum foil to prevent it from getting hard.
• Get your mirrors and windows shining by rubbing it with a newspaper and a cleaning fluid.
• Line the bottom of your fridge with a newspaper. It keeps your vegetables smell-free and dry.
• Rub a dab of olive oil on your nails to make your cuticles softer.
• Get rid of price marks from your crockery by soaking vinegar on them and wipe them away.
• Use velcro to attach the remote to the side of the TV when it's not in use. Saves the time spent on looking for your remote.
