INGREDIENTS IN SAFFOLA MASALA OATS

Saffola masala oats contain corn starch, wheat flour, dehydrated vegetables, emulsifiers, flavoring agents, etc. As we know any processed food is not a very good option for those conscious about their health due to its high salt content which causes obesity and high blood pressure. This one (supposed to be a healthy option for plain oats) does contain synthetic ingredients.

It also contains vegetable oil, and in addition to which the cooking instructions ask us to add 1 tsp of oil to it. This very obviously increases the fat content of your yummy breakfast bowl. BORDERLINE

Saffola oats are a healthy option but not for everyone. If diabetic, the portion has to be controlled, or else can have negative effects due to some ingredients like high salt content. But they are definitely better than other junkies and can be consumed sometimes. Luckily, they have an array of flavours that you can feast on.

Be careful when you pick any processed food from the supermarket. Be it oats or anything for that matter. Don't forget to check out the ingredients. It always comes with a clause!  Always question yourself, are we choosing health or taste?
