Some Smoothies for the Holiday Season!

Smoothies can be a wonderful drink! Smoothies are tasty, delicious and easy to make if you have ingredients ready at home. Here we present to you some of the easy to make smoothies.

Banana Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1 banana, fresh or frozen
• 1 cup of strawberries, fresh or frozen
• 2 tablespoon ground flax seeds
• ½ cup dairy milk chocolate/chocolate sauce
• 1 ½ tablespoon peanut butter

Method: Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth, place in the refrigerator until cold. Enjoy.

Carrots and apples

Ingredients:

• 1 carrot - grated
• 1 orange
• 1 apple
• 1 slice of lemon

Method: Peel the oranges, core the apple and cut into sections. Juice everything in the order given in the ingredient list. Blend until smooth.

Celery Lemon Delight

Ingredients:

• 2 lemons
• 1 handful of celery leaves
• 1/2 cup brown sugar

Method: Peel the lemons. Juice the celery leaves, then the lemons. Stir in sugar, and add water to make a quart. This is best served over ice.

Soy milk and fruit

Ingredients:

• 1 cup soy milk
• ½ banana
• 1 tbsp honey

Method: Put all ingredients in a blender and blend well. Serve cold.
