Chickpea Sprouts Salad

Chickpeas and green gram sprouts are a helpful source of zinc, folate and protein. They are also very high in dietary fiber. They also contain appreciable amounts of Vitamin C.

Nutritious and tasty, high on fiber and vitamin content.

•Preparation Time: 15 minutes
•Servings: 1 Person


•Green gram sprout: 1/4 cup
•Boiled chick peas: 1/4 cup
•Cucumber: ½ small
•Tomato : 1 big
•Pineapple: 1 slice
•Spring onion (finely chopped): 2 tbsp
•Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp
•Lemon Juice: ½ tsp
•Black Pepper Powder : 1/4th tsp
•Salt: To taste


•Peel and cut cucumber into medium sized cubes along with pineapple, and tomatoes.
•Chop coriander leaves and spring onions finely.
•Mix all the above ingredients
•Chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
•To make the seasoning, mix together lemon juice, black pepper powder and salt.

Tastes better when served chilled.
