Paneer and Greens Roti

A wholesome and healthy recipe rich in iron and vitamins would be best suited for your family. Serve it with low fat curd to relish it better.

Cooking Time: 15 mins
Makes 6 rotis


• 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
• 1/3 cup finely chopped fenugreek leaves
• 1/2 tsp oil
• 1/2 cup grated paneer
• 1/2 tsp chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp fresh low-fat curds
• 1/2 tsp sugar
• 1/2 tsp asafoetida
• salt to taste
• 1/4 tsp oil for kneading
• whole wheat flourfor rolling
• 1 1/2 tsp oil for cooking


1. Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl and knead into soft dough, adding water little by little, if required. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
2. Knead again using oil till smooth and divide into 6 equal portions.
3. Roll each portion into thin a roti of 5"in diameter using a little wheat flour for rolling
4. Cook on a tava on both sides using ¼ tsp of oil till brown spots appear. Serve hot.
