Crispy Mushroom with Garlic Dip

Impress your guests with this perfect finger food. Crispy mushroom with garlic dip makes for an ideal starter at parties.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Makes: 2 servings


For the Dip:

Hung Curd- 4 tsp

Garlic Paste- 2 tsp

Milk- 2 tsp

Tomato Ketchup- 1 tsp

Salt- To taste

Other Ingredients:

Mushrooms- 250 g

Corn Flour- 2 tsp

Refined Flour (Maida)- 2 tsp

Freshly Ground Black Pepper- A pinch

Salt- To taste

Oil- For shallow frying


For the Dip:

  • Beat yoghurt until smooth.
  • Add garlic paste, milk, and ketchup and mix well.
  • Season with salt and set aside.

For the Crispy Mushrooms:

  • Wash the mushrooms and keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Mix all the ingredients, except bread crumbs in bowl.
  • Add mushrooms and toss well.
  • Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a nonstick pan, roll the mushrooms in bread crumbs, and shallow fry until golden brown from all sides.
  • Serve hot with the dip.
