Top 8 Signs Of Early Pregnancy !

Most women don't experience any symptoms of early pregnancy until the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine wall. Others may notice no signs of pregnancy for weeks and begin to wonder only when they miss a period. Below is a list of some of the early signs of impending motherhood. You may experience all, some, or none of these symptoms of earliest pregnancy:

1. Nausea - Often referred to as "morning sickness", the onset of nausea can actually occur at any time of the day or night. It occurs as a result of rising levels of hormones in early pregnancy. If your morning sickness is accompanied with vomiting, be sure to stay hydrated, keep your electrolyte levels within range and get plenty of rest and nap throughout the day.

2. Frequent urination - This pregnancy symptom can start in early pregnancy and continue through the third trimester. As your pregnancy progresses, the uterus grows and pushes on the bladder, triggering the urge to urinate more often.

3. Breast swelling and tenderness - If you are pregnant, your breasts will probably become increasingly tender to touch, similar to the way they feel before your period and it begins to fade by the second trimester. The nipple area of the breasts (areolas) will start to darken and enlarge.

4. Fatigue - Fatigue is a hallmark of early pregnancy, high levels of the hormone progesterone can make you feel as if you have run a marathon. There are a couple of things that you can do to help combat the extreme fatigue and tiredness- take a short nap whenever you can, but not too long and go to bed at the same time every night.

5. Abdominal bloating - Hormonal changes in early pregnancy may leave you feeling bloated, similar to the feeling some women have just before their period arrives.

6. Implantation bleeding - A very early sign in pregnancy, even before you realize you're pregnant is "spotting" that lasts for  a day or two. Spotting as a result of implantation usually looks a bit different than your regular period; it tends to be light in volume and pinkish in color, as opposed to the deep red color associated with regular menstrual bleeding.

7. Food Cravings and Aversions to Foods - A well-known cliché in pregnancy is the craving of certain foods or unusual combinations of foods. You may also find that certain foods you used to enjoy are suddenly completely repulsive to you.

8. A missed period - If you're usually pretty regular, but this time, your period doesn't occur on time, you will probably need to take a pregnancy test long before you notice any of the above symptoms.

To be reliable, the test should be taken about a week after your period was supposed to begin.

Whether or not you do the home pregnancy test, make sure to make an appointment with your doctor to confirm the good news. Congratulations!
